Week 52 - 2010

And Week 52....I have all the confidence in the world that I stand a good chance of actually really finishing this P365/52  job! Wooohooo.... the final page is coming together one day at a time. This page below is just as full, busy and slightly confusing as the week was  hehe

Week 51 - 2010

Wow! It's been busy! This LO has been collecting dust sitting on the virtual shelf here on my 'puter! But here it is finally :

Week 51 - 2010

The original QP is still available HERE

Have you seen Rina Kroes' new  "Whispers of Winter" Page Set? Just gorgeous.....and many more add-ons coming this weekend...

Week 50 - 2010

The second week of December is all done. I have to write myself a BIG reminder that I have a turkey to cook for tomorrow...I'm cruising along, scrapping and baking (fruit cake turned out great!) and seem oblivious to the fact that tomorrow is Christmas Eve. ACK!!!

Maybe I'll watch 'Nutcracker' tonight. That is bound to put me in the holiday feel!!!

So here is my Week 50 and the QP freebie is still available here

Last night I got this image in my inbox! Tanya was kind enough to share her LO using this QP with us. Thank you Tanya!!!

I'm off to go write myself a BIG note on the bathroom mirror so I don't forget to start cooking early tomorrow ;-)

Week 48 - 2010

So this is the last few days of November. There is one more page full of goofy pictures of my birthday party - see me there in my dress-up clothes? I was a draughts (checkers) board and had a chess game in progress on my hat. My beautiful jewelery is all game pieces...ah yes, the last word in fashion for sure! And the rest of the friends looked equally grand. Won't be posting that page...all you'll have is a bunch of blurred out faces ;-0 No fun :D

For full credits please see HERE

Just adding finishing touches to the next pages...but now it is time for dinner first...and maybe I'll whip up a fruit (steamed) pudding for Christmas Eve dinner...hmmmmm.

I used this recipe...a winner every time!

Week 2 December 2010

It was so cool to find the last QP in a gallery this morning. I get such a kick out o actually seeing the QP's used. I have the strong suspicion that very few QP's downloaded are actually used in reality. I hope I am wrong. Thank you Marilynn, aka Scrappy Diva for posting this one :D

and here is the QP for the week to come.

Country Christmas is available at Studio Gypsy HERE . Winterland is not currently available.

I'm up-to-date!

Whoooot! (doing the happy dance) I'm up-to-date with this year's pages and even manged to do one for 2008 and some other 'old picture' pages too...and in between I've been working away at a painting...final touches, final tweaks. These seem to take as long as the painting itself ;-)

Here is Week 31 (Credits)

and Week 30 (Credits)

....the paint is dry...I can hear it calling me...LOL

Still going strong......

I'm still going strong with the weekly pages, even if I am slow to post them here! I'm so excited to see the photo book of the first half of the year, it is in the process of being printed...can't wait to get the email from Costco to come and get it!! heeeheee.

So here is Week 29 (credits HERE)

and Week 28 (credits HERE)

I definitely use a lot of greens and browns don't I?

Now way back when Rina first released 'Lush' I had made a QP freebie for you...and promptly misplaced it - sigh-  until last week when I found it again....and here it is. Do yourself a favour and take a look at Rina's entire "Lush" collection (albums coming this Sunday August 8th...I've seen them...save your pennies : you will want them!)

Here is Lush and the Lush Add-On (a full set in it's own right) (there's stacked papers, clusters, frames, borders etc also available)

This freebie uses only "Lush" btw...and you can grab it HERE...Enjoy!

Till next time...Happy Scrapping!

Week 25 & 26

I waited for the Scrapbook-Elements Store to be up and running again, before posting this (Did you see they're having a 35% off sale through the weekend?)

Scrapbook-Elements Store is now back online, and to celebrate our return we are having a 35% off sale

on almost everything in the store from now through Monday midnight CT.

This includes all current "New Releases" as well as the new files which are due to be released this Sunday.

Here is Week 26 (Credits)

I definitely like the journalling sitting in one block, but it doesn't work for all the pages. I guess in the end, the suitable/natural way will eventually add it's own rhythm to the flow in the book.

 and Week 25 (Credits)

I thought it may be a good plan to try slightly different colour! With all the nature pictures, the page all tend to go to greens, browns, tans etc. It certainly works, but I thought I'd spice it up just a wee bit ;-)

week 26 is then the last page for this photo book. I'm still doing an intro page and then I'm ready to print! All the other additional pages are done and ready to go!

Go me! LOL

Today is the start of the new week, so I'd better get last week's pictures organised!

Have a great weekend....we're having wonderful weather in the Pacific Northwest right now!

Weeks 22 & 23!

I'm catching up!!! :D

Pictures/previews/links for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing

Week 22  (credits HERE) This kit had the perfect colours for my pictures and the simplicity of it worked well with the feel I wanted to convey with these holiday pictures!

Week 23 (see the credits HERE ) This is a colourful one and I used several different bits and pieces from my stash (I love doing that btw!)

Now would you know that I actually have a freebie ready for you> Uploaded and all...I'm just waiting for the kit to go live on Sunday so I can link you up!

Off to go play some more...I'm not quite out of the proverbial woods yet with this P365/52 you know...

Week 21 - 2010

I'm not sure I'm catching up yet...but I'm working on it! ;-)

Here is Week 21 anyway. The bg paper is just a picture we took n the beach. I like the way it looks!!

Got lots to do...see ya soon!

Tuesday, June 15, 2010

I'm back...at least I think so!

...part of me is running waaaaay ahead of me and some bits are stragglin behind...know the feeling? ROFLOL.

I still have lots of LO's to catch up on (including weekly pages and holiday pictures) but I can at least update this with what I have, right? Click on the 'Week...' to go to the gallery for complete credits!

Week 18

Fortunately after posting this I saw that I had left the edge guidelines (greyed areas) on this and fixed it double quick! ACK
Week 19

Week 20

I keep telling myself that I need to use different colours, but you know I keep coming back to the neutrals and naturals. Maybe because I have so many nature shots, but also because the seem to go so nicely with a wide range of pictures.
Makes sense to me!!

More coming up soon!

Week 16 - 2010

Unless my math is worse than I thought...LOL... week 16 means a minimum of 112 pictures. Funny how different things look when you change it into numbers. And we are in the 17th week out of 52. Somehow a year doesn't sound long if you say "52 weeks"

Anyhow...ignore the rambling - here is my page and the links and credits are HERE

Also don't miss the early iNSD sale at Studio Gypsy : See this DST thread for images and links!

I saw the cutest kit by Kimberly Stewart that is begging me to use it...so I'm off to see what I can do ;-)
Have a great weekend everyone!

Later gators...

Week 14 - 2010

It was a hectic week! Funny how some days I have to take special pics for the day...and some days I have too many pics...which is why I added and extra pic on this week's page...that Junco having such an exuberant bath simply had to be recorded. It was soaked completely by the time it was done, and flew off to preen in a nearly bush (have I ever mentioned how much I like birds?)

For credits, please see HERE   Pictures/previews/links for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing

I spent a whack of hours pulling pictures off disks and into folders so I can find them when I'm actually needing them. This next LO, started it all : I knew I had 2 pictures of myself sitting with dolls and animal 'dolls' in this particular spot in the garden. I finally found the elusive 2nd one on disk #3. ;-) I used items by Rina Kroes and Kimberly Stewart from the new 'U Build it' collection, called Floral Symphony, at Scrapbook-Elements.

The older UBI collections are still available, although slightly more expensive now, HERE

And then I've also started on the yearbook for 2008. I got the 2009 copies intended for family yesterday and am looking forward to hearing their comments when they finally get their copies!

Hopefully what I'm feeling is hayfever (so much pollen in the air), but I'm thinking it may be a cold slowly creeping up on me...ugh...as long as I can keep making LO's...I'm on a roll and don' want to loose speed now! LOL

Week 13 - 2010

I did this one in the 'new' format ready for the photobook for this year! You can see I've allowed ample extra paper around the edges for bleeding off the page edges and the spine of the book. I also changed the way I'm doing the dates. As I change the LO's for the new format, I'm changing the dating accordingly. I think this is less cluttery (is that a word?) and it certainly is easier to do.

For credits please see HERE

Lisa, over at Studio Gypsy at ScrapbookGraphics has a new kit in store called "Sunsine"

I used that one for this LO

which is my answer (wonderfully expressed by Randy and Cheryl in their song "Heal Me" sung so beautifully by Cheryl)  to this LO I did a few weeks ago :

Here is a look at Lisa's "Sunshine"

I have a crazy busy week ahead but I so much want to tell you about (and show off!!) Rina Kroes being Designer of the Month at Scrapbook-Elements. Rina has some wonderful stuff on special HERE and many new goodies in her store. Do check it out mean time, will you?

See you asap!

Week 09 - 2010

One drawback to doing these LO's is that you are keeping track of just how fast the year is going by. I'm collecting pictures for the 10th week of this year...incredible!

I've been using different markers for the monthly dates and week days. Partly because I have several sets in my stash and partly because I would get bored using the same stuff for 52 LO's! Ha! But I think it is turning out to be a good idea, because when I look at the LO's where the months change, it is easy to see where one stops and the new one starts. Like this week's one. I was clever - quite unintentionally ;-)

But here is last week : and full credits can be found HERE  Pictures/previews/links for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing

Week 08 - 2010

And here you go...so far so good, almost 2 months done so far. I do want to do a monthly review/overview set too. I'm just waiting for the photobook of the 2009 LO's to arrive so I can decide if that is what I want to do for this year too. The format is diferent (not 12x12) hence my wanting to wait untill I've seen it.

For credits for this week's LO, please check HERE  Pictures/previews/links for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing

Have a great weekend!

Week 07 2010

I was hanging onto this one for a bit, didn't want to post it untill the kit was released : Lisa's new 'Natural Abandon' is available in her 'Studio Gypsy' store today.

Pictures/previews for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing

I also used the Cluster Frames on this one.

So here is my Week 07 LO :

And finally the freebie I've had lurking on my HD. The kit called WooWoo is no longer available, but I hope you find the QP useful anyway!

You can grab it HERE
