January 2011

At last! So much to catch up on and the days just fly past. This morning the snow started and we have a nice amount on the ground. So much so a function I was planning to attend tomorrow, was cancelled. Sad to miss that, but glad to have more hours than I planned for this week!

It is time to start selecting the pictures for February, but at least I'm up-to-date for January. Alas I've not managed to catch up on previous years as much as I would have liked to, but we'll soon fix that.

For now here is the second page for January 2011.

I also did this one today, that I am pleased with :

Ok time to write a letter to my sister and hopefully more LO's tomorrow morning!

Money Talks

Remember 'Forever in Blue Jeans' by Neil Diamond? (hmmm you're THAT old? LOL) I heard it on the radio again the other day and when I saw Lisa's new kit...it begged me to capture this line in print.

True the song line philosophy will 'drop' you in the long run...but still I think it's useful to help keep things in perspective...

Time To Refuel

I love it when he just pops in at home for a quick bite to eat :D

Refuel Station

I used the new Industrial Collab Bundle for the LO. With 3 men in the house, this is my kinda kit! ;-)

I seem so slow getting momentum with scrapping this year. There is just so many other things to do too, not the least of which is getting recipe cards made! better get on with it, right?

Week 50 - 2010

The second week of December is all done. I have to write myself a BIG reminder that I have a turkey to cook for tomorrow...I'm cruising along, scrapping and baking (fruit cake turned out great!) and seem oblivious to the fact that tomorrow is Christmas Eve. ACK!!!

Maybe I'll watch 'Nutcracker' tonight. That is bound to put me in the holiday feel!!!

So here is my Week 50 and the QP freebie is still available here

Last night I got this image in my inbox! Tanya was kind enough to share her LO using this QP with us. Thank you Tanya!!!

I'm off to go write myself a BIG note on the bathroom mirror so I don't forget to start cooking early tomorrow ;-)

Motorcycles Anyone?

I think this picture is quite a classic. It is in very bad shape, so to show it smaller is a good idea. Lisa's new kit 'The Gathering' worked so well for it : just rusty enough for an older photograph and manly enough to scrap these guys (father & son) ready to hit the road. I used a template by Studio True Blue too. Great templates!

Autumn Mist...

...the mere title of the page set conjures up wonderful images and smells! Studio Gypsy released this beauty
"Autumn Mist" a little while back.

and I used it to scrap the chrysanthemums on my deck. What a show these beauties were putting on!

I went ahead and turned the page into a freebie for you. I hope you like it!

I'm in the mood to dig through my stash of treasures and create something FUN....have a great weekend every one!

3 Generations...

I have another picture of these 3 men...plus the next generation youngster. It is really incredible to have pictures of all the generations together!

I used Lisa Hankins' (aka Studio Gypsy) new 'Divine Debris' Kit for this LO. It is wonderfully grungy and can be both soft and feminine and rough/grungy - just right for the guys.

See how beautifully girly this LO by Cynthia is?

I made my LO into a QP for you, now if you have the kit, it would be super easy to girlify it ;-)

You can download it HERE

Have a great weekend!!
