Yearbook- October!

I finally wrapped up the October page. I will have a couple more pages for October, but I'm waiting for pictures from a friend, before I start on them so I'll be moving on to doing November next. I have a ton of November pics....it will be hard to select jut a few!

Our internet has been patchy and our tech is away right now, so I've not been able to do much online. It also seems like 4Shared is blocked...big nuisance, but I'll chat with him and see what solutions we may be able to find to that little hassle. There must be a way I can get a freebie to you :D

So here is October 2011

I also thought an ABC album featuring people and places with specific significance to our family would be fun to do. Here is my page for 'A' Featuring two of my favourite pictures of my sister. Click the image or HERE to go to the gallery and direct products links, including the set of templates that I got this one from.

Has any of you done an ABC album? I love alphabets and alphabetical stuff so I thought this would be neat. If you've done an album like this, post a link will you? I'd love to see what you've done!

Yearbook 2011 - September

Well what with packing and sorting and a pile of other things happening, I don't seem to do much more that yearbook pages and some ATC's. Still I'm not complaining, but some more fun goodies would be nice ;-)

Rina Kroes is Designer of The Month over at Scrapbook-Elements at the moment, so I hope to provide you with a freebie or 2 during her month. Watch this space for possible 'treats' coming up.

In the meantime here is the first page for September. I know the month isn't over yet, but I don't expect huge photo opportunities to come along, and if anything is that big...it can have it's own page :p

Hopefully I`ll have time to play in photoshop a bit again tomorrow!

Later gators!

Yearbook August 2011

Looks like I'm going to have another 4 or 5 pages for August. You know I was thinking I'm almost doing a weekly page anyway...maybe I'll go back to the 365 project for next year LOL.

I have one done so far August Page 1 I'm not sure I like the light bg though, I think I'm going to recolour that one before it gets to the printing stage.

and then Scrapbook-Elements is have a Guest CT Call....

Have a good weekend folks. I hope the weather lasts for the entire long weekend. If not, it is bound to be a beautiful day on the first day of school....isn't that how it is supposed to work ;-)

July...done at last

My house has never been this neat and clean and tidy for so many days in a row. Of course don't even think to ask me where some stuff may be. I have only a general idea! I hope to make some progress in that department this week, but in the meantime I finished off the 5 pages I have for July. I'm only posting 2, the others are full of faces I would have to blur and that spoils all the fun of showing them to you :-(

But here is July

and the Flowers of July. Such a colourful time of the year.

For the first page a used a fun kit of Kimberly Stewart's, 'Spotted Cows'

and the Flora one features an older kit ' Lemonberry Zinger' by Rina Kroes

oh and by the way Scrapbook-Elements have a 40% off sale, running till the 31st, don't miss this one!

I'll be back with a little giftie for you shortly...have a great week!

Yearbook - June 2011

So far I'm able to keep to a 2-pages-per-month average. I feel I'm able to keep up just fine that way and that everything that needs to be documented, is. It will probably take me a few more months though, to get 'free' of the desire to do a picture-a-day album. ;-) Click on the picture/link for full credits to products used!

So here is June Page 1  I find nature shots irresistable...

and June Page 2

Right now I'm working hard on catching up on recipe cards. I also host the recipe card exchange over at Scrapbook-Elements. This month we are doing desserts. Here is my contribution (make one card get all the submitted cards see the forum post for details) This dessert is delicious. Easy to change flavours to suit what you have in the house, or to suit your meal. Yummy indeed!

Panna Cotta

I used  Rina's Sweet Taste of Summer Page Set     I also used this and other bits from the Sweet Taste of Summer Collection for my first June Page pictured above.

Yearbook - May 2011

Here are my two pages for this month. It was a bit hard to stick to two pages . One of those cases where I could do 4 pages, but really? Do I need that many pictures included, or can I tell the story better with few? I opted for the latter, and hope it works. Click on the LO's to go to the gallery for active links to the products used.

Now I have a freebie QP almost ready for you, hope to make it available before the weekend, at least. I don't know what happened to the days of the week. I'm sure we've lost a couple somewhere...

And I can start straight away on my June pages too! Whoot! After several delays I finally had the second book for last year printed (I did a 365/52 project) and just when I got the books for my family back from the printers...we had a postal strike! ACK! Now I have to wait for the backlog of mail to get processed and then I can mail these. I might as well wrap them in Christmas paper by now :D

Yearbook - April 2011

I just got the second book for last year back from the printers. I divided the pages for last year into 2 books as it was going to be too big all crammed into one. I have all those extra pages you know ;-) and then there was a problem with the machine during the first print and all the tops of the pages were cut off ACK!
But now this last book is perfect, and I'm soooooo pleased with it! And to think that I am totally up-to-date with 2 full years in digiscrapping (got some years all completed in paper scrapping too :D) I tell you - that makes me happy! LOL

So here is April 2011 I used all goodies by Rina Kroes, click the LO for links to it all.

Now I'm trying to load your QP freebie to 4 Shared, but right now, it isn't loading...so I'll have to get back to you with that one asap.  ugh

I'm still here!!

I have just been very busy with all kinds of stuff, meantime I have a few LO's from recent weeks to show you. Rina Kroes also has an awesome kit out. Fantastical Future (see the entire Collection HERE) And the previews of Rina's New Revelry kit coming this Sunday are gorgeous!! I hope to have some gifts featuring these two kit for you in the very near future. Meantime you can pick up a freebie QP at Rina's blog - The Reluctant Recluse.

Julie Jorgenson has beautiful vintage kits...the sort of kit I have good use for. This one is An Old Time Story

And this one was fun with the pictures I have of these vintage cars. I used a variety of goodies, so better check out the gallery for the credits HERE

And then I realized that I never did post my March page...and I need to do the April page!

So here is March 2011

But now it's dinner time...till next time - happy scrapping!

February 2011 - Yearbook Page

It is quiet in my neck of the woods, isn't it?

I did manage to get my February page done though. My catching up is not going as well as I would have liked...but we'll soon put that right!

Meantime here is last month's page - February 2011

Whoot spring is around the corner, but it is wet, wet, wet here where I am...just maybe we'll see some sun next week?

Happy weekend everyone!

January 2011

At last! So much to catch up on and the days just fly past. This morning the snow started and we have a nice amount on the ground. So much so a function I was planning to attend tomorrow, was cancelled. Sad to miss that, but glad to have more hours than I planned for this week!

It is time to start selecting the pictures for February, but at least I'm up-to-date for January. Alas I've not managed to catch up on previous years as much as I would have liked to, but we'll soon fix that.

For now here is the second page for January 2011.

I also did this one today, that I am pleased with :

Ok time to write a letter to my sister and hopefully more LO's tomorrow morning!

Wintertime - January 2011

My first page for this year's photobook. I had a bit of a delay getting this out. My computer was sick (scared me real bad!) but all looks good now...I hope it lasts, will take me a while to relax surfing the net I'm sure.

January 2001 - click link/image for cedits. This is 12x12 (easier for CT stuff) but the photobook will have a 9x12 page.

Got more catching up to do...see you soon!
