The new U Build It (UBI) Collection is in the Scrapbook-Elements store and both Rina Kroes and Kimberly Stewart have contributed a wonderful collection of goodies -see Rina's UBI HERE and Kimmi's UBI HERE.
I used the UBI Collection -mostly Kimmi's stuff- for one of my P365 pages : Week 40
The colours as well as the theme : Naturally Male means that it is very useful for me. What with all the nature pictures I scrap and having a house full of guys, the frilly flowery froth is reserved for my and my sisters' kiddie pics. ;-)
One of the Muses (the combined CT for Rina Kroes and Kimberly Stewart is known as the Royal Muses) Bon, made a set of wordart for us and it is my great pleasure to offer that as the freebie for today. The goodies used for these are only from Rina's collection....hang tight and we'll spoil you with a treat from Kimmi soon!
On the preview you can see small previews of Rina's Naturally Male UBI Collection. These items are all priced at $1-$2 only!
Download your freebie wordart HERE Thank you Bon!

Ouma and I
Pictures/previews for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing
I have the most wonderful memories of my Ouma (Grandma). She lived with us, for as long as I could remember and I love her dearly. Of course she has long since passed away, but in my memory she will live forever. If my mother taught me about the beauty of flowers in our garden, then Ouma taught me about the beauty of wild flowers. She loved them all, weeds were just pretty flowers to her and she would always find interesting and beautiful things to draw to my attention to....like she is doing here in these pictures, even if I don't seem quite as interested. We were on holiday when these were taken and I probably wanted the beach....or nothing else LOL.

The beauty and fun of digital scrapping is that I can use the same pictures repeatedly and scrap them suited to the people the album/LO/book is destined for. This purple one, is heading for my album.
I used Kimberly Stewart's "Beautiful Memories" for it (and a template by Kim Wresh, n/a)
The this next one is for the Shutterfly book for my parents.
Rina Kroes' "Some Enchanted Morning Stacked Papers" and "Clustered Frames" made this one super quick to do. The wordart was a freebie, also by Rina, and will be available in her store shortly. You can see the available Wordart HERE.
I think, in honour of Ouma, I shall scrap these pictures once more, for her, using wildflowers.
Here's to you Ouma! and thank you so much.......if I had the wings of a sparrow, away to my home I would fly.....

Those Danglements
Pictures/previews for this page have been removed due to Designers retiring and stores closing
Remember the post I did about Danglements? (see HERE)...well Rina has a new one in her store today. This one co-ordinates with the "Sea Spirit" Page Set.
I'm really pleased with how this turned out!
I blended two papers...I needed that lighter corner in the bottom for the Wordart to show up well. Isn't the Wordart amazing? I found it on the Tempus Fugit blog, and the shells are part of it! Super duper stuff!!!
Also...if you head on over to Rina's Reluctant Recluse blog, you will find this Quick Page, made by Kabra, waiting for you. It co-ordinates with the Something Nautical Page Set released today (see yesterday's post)

I used it for this LO
It is a beautiful, sunny day here...with a stiff breeze, I'm blogging while hubby is sailing!
Have a wonderful Sunday!

Take a look :
Apart from the colours that are just wonderful : they vibrate together in a way that both contrasts and compliments, thus creating a vibrancy and excitement, that makes you look and look and look. But what stands out to me most, is the vast selection of textures that Rina included in this set. Treated with her customary incredible attention to detail, I see satin and glass beads, rough stone walls and cloth, brass and copper and woven baskets. Truly a feast for the senses.
See what I mean?
The Page Set as well as the Alpha, decorated frames and the Danglement are on sale Sunday and Monday.
Freebie time! And what a selection for today!
