...because everybody needs an adopted grandma!

I'm still scrapping pictures all over the place all over the years! I'm still managing to get books completed and printed, but at times it seems so random. Still at least I'm working on it!

Building a shed in a packet - we knew we would need a shed immediately upon moving into this house, so hubby produced this pre-fabricated version with the help of the boys. Once at the new place they had it up and functional in no time at all.

Family History - a Photo Book

Long time no hear from me!

I did not plan to take a 3 month break, but life got busy and computers gave me trouble....but I'm back!

And today I'm back with another page in the Family History Photo Book. This book has been in the making for many years, and I think by the time I get the pages uploaded for printing, I'll be looking at more than one volume. For now I'm just working away at the pictures. I think I have all the pictures collected in one spot by now though. What a job! But interesting too - no doubt about that!

It's been really interesting to read some of the novels written by a niece of mine, relating the stories of some of our ancestors. In this photograph I recognise some of the people mentioned in the latest book in the series. That is really very special!

I used Cathy Krenek's 'Time For Wine' kit for my page. One can never have too many flowers and when the picture is 'all girl' I have to restrain myself from adding copious amounts of ribbons, lace and flowers! Right now this is available as a grabbag, I'm sure that will change next week. I'll be back to fix broken links by then...

100th Birthday

That sure is a milestone!

I'm still working away at scrapbooking the family story. It is so wonderful to have so many pictures. This one was taken on my Great-grandma's 100th Birthday.

I used a favourite kit of mine for this one..do you also find yourself going back to the same kits over and over? I sure do!

In Father's Footsteps

I found this picture post card among my mother's papers after she passed away. I had forgotten all about it, till then! Oh the memories! She loved the humour in this and would chuckle away delightedly whenever she showed it to someone. We all have those little things that just get our funny bones, don't we?

I thought it would make a great page in the Family photo album since we all remember this so well.

I used the mini kit "Beautiful" by Cathy Krenek for my page. The template is from the Gingerscraps Template Challenge for February 2017

Sister Friends

Sisters can be such fun friends! I'm thankful for my Sister-Friends!

It took several tries, but in the end we had a picture or two for the photo album!

I used this to make my LO for our last anniversary. We've taken a picture every year and I'm almost caught up on the pages to have them printed as a photo book. Hmmmm I'll have to decide on a good cut-off point for the first book. Maybe I'll make it at 30...
