Yearbook June 2015

I have so many nice pictures from last month...it looks like I'll have 3 -4 pages this time!

Here's one featuring some critters and animals -

I used the Nature Hike Collection by Snickerdoodles Designs for my page. You can also find it HERE at Karen's personal store. (Am I the only one who does not like the new Digital Scrapbooking Studio Store set-up?)

I did another page for June featuring some ocean pictures. One can never have too many ocean pictures in your yearbooks! For this I used an all time favourite collection by (now retired) Gypsy Couture...

Backyard Wildlife

Finding a 'bunny house' full of babies surely must be a highlight for any summer!

I used Lonetta Avelar's gorgeous 'Backyard Oasis Collection' for my page.

Fungi, mosses, lichens....fascinating stuff! Like a world inside a world. Ever since I was a kid I could spend hours looking at the intricate details contained in these exquisite creations.

We have a most wonderful collection of these beauties here where we live and I have collected a fine bunch of pictures. It is time to add these to my "Nature Around Us" album.

For my Shaggy Mane (Inky Top) page, I used Gypsy Couture's new 'Secret Places' Page Set. I think you will agree with me that it suits the subject matter perfectly

LisaMarie (aka Gypsy Couture) also has a cool Add-On freebie to 'Secret Places' on her blog HERE. Don't miss it....that is where I found the cool alpha for the word 'shaggy' in my LO! And the scrap piece of paper my friend Rina Kroes gave me...
Now if I can just get all my pictures organized (and the fungi etc properly identified!) I can add quite a few pages to my album!

Summer Babies

Lots of babies in our yard every summer. Baby birds, squirrels, rabbits...and last year a baby raccoon. We've seen baby deer (some mothers will teach their babies to eat the pansies in a planter on a deck!) and one year Tim -almost- met up with a young black bear on the driveway.

The birds provide the most entertainment though, and oh how I love to watch my bird friends!

Here is a LO - Helping Hand- I did quite a while ago, of a young finch that flew into the window.... click the LO for the -long- list of credits.

More baby animals another time. The hummer feeder is out, I heard the Pileated Woodpecker call this afternoon....now all I need is to see the first crocus. The snowdrops are blooming, the daffodils have growing buds and I even detected colour on the maples down the valley this afternoon.
