Yearbook- October!

I finally wrapped up the October page. I will have a couple more pages for October, but I'm waiting for pictures from a friend, before I start on them so I'll be moving on to doing November next. I have a ton of November pics....it will be hard to select jut a few!

Our internet has been patchy and our tech is away right now, so I've not been able to do much online. It also seems like 4Shared is blocked...big nuisance, but I'll chat with him and see what solutions we may be able to find to that little hassle. There must be a way I can get a freebie to you :D

So here is October 2011

I also thought an ABC album featuring people and places with specific significance to our family would be fun to do. Here is my page for 'A' Featuring two of my favourite pictures of my sister. Click the image or HERE to go to the gallery and direct products links, including the set of templates that I got this one from.

Has any of you done an ABC album? I love alphabets and alphabetical stuff so I thought this would be neat. If you've done an album like this, post a link will you? I'd love to see what you've done!

I love a pretty bookmark....

There is something so spaecial about opening a delightful book and be greeted by a pretty bookmark. I've made quite a few over the years and since the bookmark exchange started at Scrapbook-Elements, my collection has grown. Check it out here.

This is my latest bookmark and bookplate for the December Exchange. The theme is 'Time"

I've managed to finish all the pages for September and am busy on the October ones. I'm hoping to finish catching up during the Christmas break! LO coming soon!

Just a quick LO to share…

I’ve only just started to scrap again.  But this one I made some time ago and just wanted to share it with you. I’m so pleased with how it turned out. Isn’t that little face just too precious beyond words? Click the pictures to go to the gallery for full credits and product links

I also did this one, round the same time….and was equally pleased with the results.

This is one I did today. I really like Kimberly Stewart’s paper blossoms. She has quite a collection of those in her store .

I'm back!!!

...well that is to say I have a home again and the boxes are unpacked (and I have little idea where what is) and my computer is up and running....

Now I have some catching up to do on this year's photo book pages. Hopefully I can manage that soon enough. I'm scrapping 'starved' I tell you. It is quite serious ;-)

Hope to be back here with a LO soon.

Boxes and total chaos...

I do not like moving!

Ugh!

...but I'll be back as soon as my life gets a bit of normality back!

Watch this space

Winter is looking at us.....

...and the weather man is promising lots of snow. Now that is what they said last year, and we did have a good dump...but only one decent one, and no White Christmas (pout)

Still, I'm always in the mood for snow (that is probably only because we don't get much of it where we live...) so that when I was making overlays, the gorgeously dreamy 'Whispers of Winter' kit by Rina Kroes was calling my name in a most insistent way. (Treat yourself to a look at the whole Collection HERE)

What can I say?
Did I resist?
Did I even try?

Not at all....so here you go

You can download the freebie HERE.

Over on Rina's blog you'll find this QP freebie by Kabra, still available too...

Time to snuggle up with a good book and a warm drink...yummy!

And something for Spring!

After all, while we take pictures of autumn leaves, others take pictures of flowers in their spring gardens!

So my next freebie overlay is fresh cool...and very 'girlie'!  Enjoy!

Rina Kroes is Designer of The Month at Scrapbook-Elements this month. She has a beautiful selection of goodies in her discount box. Take a look at these HERE. It includes the kit I used for the freebie (see below) Check out the whole Collection of coordinating items HERE

I wish I had lots of girlie pictures to scrap when I come across kits like this one....

And here is your page overlay freebie. It is a 4 sided border overlay in png, and the pinkish background paper is not included! Enjoy!

You can download your freebie HERE and over on Rina's blog is a QP freebie also featuring 'Cherished'  I used the QP on Rina's blog (made by Kabra) for this LO.

I have already taken quite a few pictures and October is barely halfway through! I see pages looming in my future...yummy fall pages! Yipeeeeeeeeeeee!

LOL...catch you later gators...
